Introduction
Baqai
Dental College is the first ever college in private or public sector that was
established in the city of Karachi in 1991. Since then it has become a centre
of excellence in Dental Education. Well known for its undergraduate Bachelor of
Dental Surgery (BDS) program, the college remains committed to equip dental
graduates with knowledge and skills that can enable them to earn a distinctive
professional career. This commitment if reflected in the wide range of
postgraduate courses and research degree programs offered by the college many
disciplines. The distinguishing feature of the college is the community
oriented dental curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate courses while also
providing excellent academic and clinical training. All the clinical
departments as well as those of basic dental sciences are fully equipped with
modern facilities and equipment. The College has all the requisite facilities
like Laboratories (including Phantom head Lab, Acrylic Lab, Ceramic &
casting Lab, Orthodontic Lab etc.), Library, Computers, Audio Visual aids etc.
to impart necessary professional expertise.

(Fellow of College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan) ORAL SURGERY
The
college is recognized for 3 years training in the Oral Surgery that is required
to fulfil the requirements for appearing in FCPS part II examinations of the
college of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). The training is
governed by rules and regulations laid down and amended from time to time by
the CPSP.
